Vera Rossi “In limine”

Bologna
The author's words are significant:
“The corpus of works represents a very personal and subjective journey without the ambition of being complete nor exhausting the complexity of Venice, indeed, it is absolutely partial and similar to those who get lost in its waters encountering random sights.
My relationship with Venice is ancient for intimate, personal and artistic reasons, since the painting of the Venetian school "in pasta" and "alla prima", gestural and full-bodied, its capacity for detail while being "of touch", the bright chromaticism and the clear, luminous air of that landscape painting are the matrix of many of my technical and poetic choices.
The exhibition is not intended to be a novel that follows a coherent plot or journey, but rather a set of short stories for painted images."
