Large paintings of undeniable evocative power are executed using a mixed media on wood, incorporating oil, varnish, pastel, and unique color drippings that produce unexpected effects of light and transparency, creating fragments of landscape.
Forests, cliffs, country houses, and ancient castles recall the French Perigord region.
Giovannini's work has always centered on landscape exploration, interpreted through careful observation of light, in a simultaneously intimate and metaphysical context.
